Here's a look at what's on the schedule for next week:
Reading:
We will begin reading Pluto from Auggie and Me and continue working out of our workbooks.
Social Studies: States and Capitals Test #4 will be on Tuesday!
We will begin Unit 2- Chapter 3: The East. We will start by looking at the land, climate, resources, and economy.
Math:
-3rd Grade- Test on Friday! Drawing an array, finding area of rectangles, finding the sum of 3 addends, division facts with 2 & 5, determining fairness and likeliness of an event.
-4th Grade- Angle measures, tessellations, sales tax, decimal numbers to the thousandths, multiplying x 10, 100, 1000.
Spelling:
-3rd & 4th Grade-Test on Friday!
Homophones List 1- See the list that is attached to the newsletter that is sent home on Fridays!
Handwriting:
-3rd- lowercase letters o, c, q
-4th- Review overcurve and doublecurve letters

-Spaghetti Dinner-
Join us for our second spaghetti dinner of the year! It is Wednesday night, from 5-7 pm in the gym. $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids (5-10), $1.00 for preschoolers (under 5) or you can feed your entire family for just $25!
-3rd/4th Grade Field Trip!-
On Wednesday, March 7, our class will be taking a field trip to the Mankato Water Festival! We will need to meet in the back parking lot and leave by 7:45 am SHARP that morning. We will return by 2:30 pm that afternoon. Sharon Pieschel & Kelsey Vogel will be driving for us. More details and permission slips will be sent home next week!

February orders will be due Friday, February 23. Celebrate I Love to Read Month by getting some new books for your home library! :)

Reminder of how the Penny Bomb works:
Students bring PENNIES to drop in their class bucket and SILVER COINS or BILLS to drop in the other class's buckets.
The bucket with the most pennies at the end of Lent will win a prize from Principal Fischer!
